Interesting find! It looks like Tara and Amy Sky are the main vocalists throughout the album, and sing covers. Here's a link that has the song listing and if you click on the sample buttons underneath the album cover, you can hear Tara sing... not sure what song. www.somersetent.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=1188Oh yeah, and it was released in January 2006, so its pretty recent.

WEIRD. This looks like one of those cheesy CDs you'd find at Shoppers Drug Mart. I'll have to check my local one tomorrow. Is this what Tara and Amy are doing to pay the bills?!?

I couldn't find it at Shoppers, or at any CD stores. I ordered from Amazon.

I'm having trouble finding it too. Odd, since it was released only a few months ago. I'm thinking of getting it off of Amazon.. let me know if its any good! (But of course it must be.. Tara's on it!

I just (finally) got this package, and yep, I can confirm it definitely is Tara. She sings lead vocals on all the tracks, and Amy Sky sings vocals on a few others. All the songs are covers with some basic guitar backing, and "nature sounds." It's not bad, but it definitely sounds like something they did 'to pay the bills.'
EDIT: UGH. "You And Me" is a cover of the Lifehouse song. It's terrible. I hated it the first time, and it's worse now!

Hmm... yeah, its kind of odd that her official site hasn't mentioned anything about it. I may get it just for some new Tara to listen to. Thanks for the review.

After listening to the WHOLE thing... I dunno. It's really not great. It's basically Tara and Amy covering songs that have been popular over the last few decades with a backing of acoustic guitar and nature sounds (yes, there are crickets throughout the entire album). Some of the low-lights are the covers of Lifehouse, Coldplay, and Chantal Kreviazuk. The covers of the classics (like The Sound of Silence) are all pretty good though.
