Hallooooo I'm Kat and I'm from Halifax. I've seen Shaye twice and I'm so blown away by the amount of talent that these three ladies have. They definitely put on a great show and I can't wait to see what great things they will be doing in the near future

Hi I'm Don from Hamilton, Ontario. 27 years old and I work for a few Universities within the province. I've liked Kim Stockwood since the days of "Jerk" I have yet to see Shaye live.

My name is Kristin..I'm 24, from Toronto, just graduated with a BA in a whole bunch of artsie/social sci. stuff and am waiting to go to teacher's college. Other then that, I've been a Shaye fan since, well, knew I would be a fan since I heard the group would be "forming"...became an official fan I guess then since the CD came out more then a year ago...and I've seen them, well....15 times since January of 2004! Hehe, just a wee bit obsessed. I'm now an official Shayehead...and have started up the Shayehead mailing list (e-mail me at hideawayprincess@hotmail.com if you want to join!!!). Other then that, I've been a Tara MacLean fan for 5-6 years now, first heard her at Lilith Fair. Seen Tara live numerous times when she performed by herself. Also seen Damhnait live once before too. That's me!

chris (but loves using camille ), 18; i'm unemployed and live with my parents. big davnet and tara fan. so naturally a shaye fan, i guess. still hoping tara can get a new record going. aside from 'jerk' i havent heard much of kim stockwood, but i'll try. my username is from one of damhnait doyle's album (and song); i tried to spell "hyperdramatic" correctly, but i've ran the username character limit (by ONE letter! ); so i had to let go of the "e"-- thus hyprdramaticamille.

Hello, thanx for approving my membership ;D I am from England. I have been a fan of Tara since her song 'Holy Tears' was used in an episode of the Canadian TV show 'Due South' and I got it on the soundtrack a while back. I became a fan of Dav's from the bonus disk on the Shaye 'The Bridge' CD. The song Traffic is one of my favourites. I have Tara's two solo albums (not her early EP tho' ) and two of Damhnait's 'Dav-net' and 'Shadows Wake Me'. I will have to import 'Hyperdramatic' soon as I am really missing out if the little sound clips on Amazon are anything to go by. I have never seen Shaye live unfortunately. I have never been to Canada either!

Welcome folks!! And sorry again about the registration issues!!! Allison -- the trip to Canada is definitely worth it As is buying Dav-Net. California and Traffic are really amazing songs. I have the feeling that Shaye's presence might become a little more international over time -- depending on how long they can go without becoming pregnant of course -- considering how popular they became in Japan and in other places around the world. I'll definitely try to mention to them that they have fans out there in England!

Hi -- my name is Dominic. I work for a college record label in England.
Been a Tara MacLean fan since about 1998. Got into Dav and Kim after The Bridge came out. Never seen Tara or Shaye live. Never been to Canada -- but would dearly love to... Big fan of Canadian music in general...

Been here awhile, but what the heck. Greg, 36, from Texas but living in Virginia. Been a Shaye fan since they started. Actually, I remember when they had a different name but changed it (I think the original was taken). I've been a fan of Tara's for a long, long time, since 1997 when I saw her at Luna Park in Los Angeles. Yes, that live recording floating around out there was my first show . Truth be told, I saw her a few months prior to this at the Vancouver Lilith, but had no idea who she was. Wish I had gotten on the ball earlier. I've seen Shaye about 5 times, and Tara more than I'm willing to admit to.

Are you referring to "Saltwater Trio"? I always wondered what happened to that name. THey never mention it in their bit about the names the band had.

Are you referring to "Saltwater Trio"? I always wondered what happened to that name. THey never mention it in their bit about the names the band had. Yeah, that's the one. I don't remember the details of how that name got into circulation (if I find my old email files, it's probably in there). I remember searching the web for any mention of the name, and as I recall, I found a band with that name registered on a Canadian website. I was wondering how it would work out since you can't have two bands with the same name, and I guess they changed it.
Who's idea it was, I don't know, but I imagine it's not funny enough for the banter they use onstage. I guess since "Saltwater Trio" was released almost a year before the actual CD was released, most people never knew they had another name.
