I actually got a pair in row BB! Not sure if they are center or not, but works for me. This will be the first in time in at least two years that I've seen the girls!

I wasn't able to make it out, but for those who went:
How was the show? What was the set list? Any photos? Was it the same back up band as the Winterlicious show?
Thanks.

THe show was great as usual... I didn't get a copy of the set list but it was a mix of songs from The Bridge and Lake of Fire, and they did God as their encore. I didn't bring a camera, not sure if anyone on here did.... and the band was the same as WinterCity except Blake was back in place of Lyle behind the drums.

Thanks Sweet One.
I wonder why Kevin Fox is no longer with them?

Kevin was most definitely there. According to what they said on stage, he's been touring with Chantal K. recently. From what I understand, Kevin is always in demand when artists go on tour - I remember talking to him when he was playing bass for Sarah Harmer a few years back on her tour across the US. I didn't get a chance to talk to him, but I bet he's been missing here and there because he's been on tour with other musicians. Unless they are touring, Shaye may not play enough for Kevin to have a steady income coming in.
As far as the show, it was phenomenal. My tickets ended up being right in front of Tara's position, which suited me just fine. She was absolutely radiant! Kim and Tara were both in black dresses, and Dav was in a blue and white number. Tara also had a red flower tucked behind her left ear, which made it picture perfect. (OK, I admit I'm biased.) Not too much to say beyond the fact it was a great show, with all the elements you come to expect when those three are on stage together.
I was quite impressed that the girls remembered me, as Dav said she saw me in the audience and said something to Tara. (To set the record straight, I've been a fan of Tara's for going on 10 years now. I've had the pleasure of seeing her perform all over the US and Canada, and we've had many conversations over the years, from when she was exhausted in Austin to the time a friend and I gave her a setlist of rarities to perform in Seattle. She's the whole reason I even listened to Shaye in the first place. )
I'm at a loss, now, but if anyone has any questions, I'll try and answer them. Given that it's been two years since the last time I saw Shaye, I have to say that they have really grown as a group - I can see the little things that improved as they've gotten more comfortable with each other as performers.

Thanks digital. I saw and spoke with Kevin, back in Aug. at the Chantal K. launch party for her cd "Ghost Stories" ( disappointing cd...she phoned it in ) at Casa Loma, and then again at Shaye's performance at First Cdn. Place.
Dav had told me he was on tour with Chantal when I ran into her downtown last month. He's a very busy man.
And with Shaye not really touring for this cd, it make cents(!) to work with other artists as much as possible.

Oh wow, Superstar, you didn't like Ghost Stories? I thought it was phenomenal! (Though I'm CK's biggest fan...)
This was the first Shaye show I've seen in QUITE a while. Loved it! Nuff Said!
and yeah... Shaye without Foxy ain't Shaye in my eyes... He's like the 4th member to me, lol.
